OMOM Embroidered Fabric Patches - Iron on patch are designed by Jay at Retrograde. Fun, ironic, and witty fabric patches that you can sew or iron onto your OMOM Totebag. Or of course, a sweater, jacket, or bag.
Which one will you choose?
These patches have an adhesive on the back that is activated by heat.
-
Application:
-
Place the patch where you want it.
-
Place a damp, thin piece of fabric or parchment paper over the patch to protect the embroidery from direct heat.
-
Press with the iron (without steam) for about 15–20 seconds.
-
Turn the garment inside out and iron the back for an additional 10–15 seconds to ensure the adhesive sticks properly.
-
-
Washing: Do a good old-fashioned hand wash! If you absolutely must, wash the garment inside out at no more than 30 °C (gentle cycle recommended). Do not use a tumble dryer, as the high heat can cause the adhesive to come loose.
-
Note: For garments that are washed frequently, or on materials that are very smooth or heat-sensitive (such as nylon and synthetic materials), it is recommended to secure the patch with a few sewn stitches to ensure it stays firmly in place.
