We plant a mangrove plant for every backpack and waist bag we manufacture

Via Prameya Foundation we plant a tree for every bag we produce in India. Pameya Foundation is a non-profit organization that strives to promote environmental sustainability through various community development projects. Their focus is on school education, skills development, and agrotourism to promote self-sufficient eco-villages. By purchasing a bag from us, you also support the Prameya Foundation and their school Paathshala. You also support their environmental conservation program in the Sundarban area, a river delta between India and Bangladesh, where one of the world's largest mangrove forests exists. For every bag you buy from us, mangroves are planted in the area as part of the conservation program. Mangrove is not a specific tree but a collection of trees and shrubs that live in salt or brackish water. Mangroves absorb and store between 6 and 8 times more carbon dioxide than rainforests and therefore provide enormous benefits in emissions. Besides the wildlife that depends on the mangrove forest, it also helps against rising sea levels and cyclones. Prameya is very committed to counteracting the effects of climate change and facilitating coexistence between people and nature, where planting is part of the work.
